The North Carolina Wildlife Federation (NCWF) is developing a network of wildlife chapters from the mountains to the sea.

NCWF chapters are community-based organizations established to form a cohesive, statewide core of influential wildlife and natural resource groups and activists who work together for wildlife and habitat conservation.

NCWF recognizes that these community-based chapters are key to our ability to deliver on our mission and goals. By carrying out wildlife programs and projects, NCWF chapters bring to bear this organization’s strengths of advocacy, education, grassroots mobilization and policy expertise.

NCWF chapters are designed to empower local wildlife enthusiasts—anglers, backpackers, birders, hunters, photographers, hikers—to have a direct and effective impact on the conservation of wildlife in their community, and, on the state as a whole.

Chapters hold monthly meetings, conduct field trips and work on interesting wildlife projects in their communities.

For information on chapter activities please visit the chapter websites listed below. If one of these chapters is located in your community – we invite you to roll up our sleeves and get involved.  If there is no chapter close to you, we invite you to help form a chapter in your area.

If you are interested in forming or participating in a NCWF wildlife chapter please contact Christopher North, Conservation Director at chris@ncwf.org or (704) 332-5696.
